The same tables can be used as training tables, conference tables, and general function tables if you plan ahead. Here are some tips and ideas you may consider before purchasing your next training/meeting tables.

Will you be moving these tables around on a daily, weekly, or even monthly basis? If so, you may consider having casters on your tables. Some companies prefer to have one person move these tables rather than having several people involved each time. Without casters, the tables will not normally last long by dragging the legs across the floor of the room.

Durability will play a key role in how long the tables last for your company. Some tables have High Pressure Laminate and some have Low Pressure Laminate. This is an important consideration depending on your office environment.

Ganging hooks and connectors are needed to keep the tables together when you decide to place them next to each other.

Modesty panels are needed when tables are placed in a classroom style to keep people from looking under the tables and seeing the lower half of other people’s bodies.

Flip top tables allow you to flip the top up. This is needed for stacking them away when not in use. Keep in mind that some tables allow you to flip the top with one person and some require two people. It is important to know this when you have to continuously use two people to re-arrange the room. Casters really make this chore much easier.

Power requirements must be considered and there are a couple ways to achieve this. You can "daisy chain" the tables together which will allow you to plug in one table to the wall and connect power to all the adjoining tables. Sometimes it is best to place outlets in the floor and plug in each table as needed.

Data requirements need to be considered as well. If you plan to run wires from table to table you will need a trough to keep them organized. Wireless works well if you plan to reconfigure the tables regularly.

Sizes, sizes, and more sizes. There are a lot of different table sizes and this will determine how many people you will get in the room the table will be located in.
